Following a presentation by Dean Watson, Phillippa became interested in the cervical spine’s involvement in both headaches and migraines. In 2016 she studied with Dean in Australia, where she was trained in the Watson Headache Approach. She was amazed at the ability of the technique to assess and specifically treat the segment involved in headaches and migraines.
Over the last 3 years, Phillippa has amassed over 3500 hours exclusively treating headaches, migraines, and concussion-related head pain. She can accurately determine the cervical spine’s relevance to headaches and migraine and treat the appropriate structures involved.
Phillippa has also completed post-graduate studies in Acupuncture and physiotherapy, at Otago University. She enjoys applying her knowledge with a strong hand on approach to treatment, as well as a functional approach to rehabilitation to promote a more fluid progression back to activity
